I've been listening to and posting a lot of Drive By Truckers stuff lately, and that's a reasonable thing to do. They are passionate about their music, are passionate about their shows and are extraordinarily talented. Hey, Southern Rock for the existentially aware, thinking person is rare. Every third Saturday morning, I escape from the Crossroads of Opportunity and zip 40 miles to get my haircut. On the way, I catch Kim Fowley's show on Underground Garage. He reminds me of a rock and roll Eyore but has great stories and plays great stuff.
