Thanks for the reader recs.
Purchasing books - especially through locally owned and operated purveyors - is one of the few ways we have left to "stick it to the Man".
Obviously fewer books like these will be published, if enough folks don't purchase them to justify the blah, blah, blah.
I would add only one other element to Ms. Jacoby's appraisal of Bush, Jr.
He doesn't care (ie. give a shit) enough to question "the expertise or the judgement of his most conservative house intellectuals...."
I'll look for both these titles later today on Beacon Hill, once the Marathon has ended.
