this is I think where inquiry and curiosity are discarded and movements begin: when we find answers to questions and demand action on concerns that are based on query, or upon self-examination. all of the facts will never be in sufficiently enough to base action upon them, but off they go! and we're here to pick up pieces and examine the losses. of course, that's part of the whole human deal folks: we'll never know completely. now don't object to war on the basis that war itself is wrong or evil or immoral - those things have already been lofted into the atmosphere and ain't coming back. object to war, well our war anyway, simply on what the advocates think the actual outcome will be, and then take their thought, roll it up and smoke it because they are high and that's got to be some good shit right there. that's right, I'm anti-advocacy.
there will always be a discrepancy between what you think is and what is actually happening. ok right, we don't need a basis for war because on its face it is baldly ugly, baldly inhumane, baldly wrong. the horror. that is of course not how actual armies and actual governments work or think. and feel free to discard reason at any time, because even your facts abound independently there, sarge. thinking or believing really really reaaalllly hard about something in order to get it to fit what you had in mind is very human, but it is also baldly destructive. and a workout: we of course like to sweat, being animals and all. envirrunmentalists are susceptible to this even as they seek to fully understand their place in the world; even they will come back incomplete, partial, and departed. and based on this, you might as well give up trying to think about things, or questioning them, because it is useless. remember that it is all always and forever useless, amen.
and I need a new descriptor. our will is simplistic, paltry and morally confused, as the great Captain Capitulation once opined. trying to harness it to violently shape the world or shape other people, their hearts and minds or otherwise, is a fruitless endeavor, unless what you are after is obedience. I want the world to do what I want it to. waah waah. we barely fuck right, let alone affecting one another positively through non-violent interaction. what do you think the outcome of war will be? utopia? a better life? you pervert, get your mind out of the gutter.
ok, I'm not here to break down or destroy what you're actually doing, as you can't help that: I'm here to break down what you think you are doing. that you think what you're doing is helping is merely an illusion, as is progress, as is any attempt at resolving one's place in the world, or in its history. our minds and our ideations are far too paltry and linear and the world far too not that, to ever fully realize any such thing. so go on, fight the good fight, lead us to a bold new world, the world of your imagination. just don't expect us not to laugh or pick it apart or flat out hate it. and for fucksake, try to leave us out of it.
