all y'all left of bushco people out there who, in the heat of the moment, might consider casting vote for john mccain in some future election ought to save this picture somewhere to scare yourselves straight. hell, right click it and set as your wallpaper. then consider this -
LYNCHBURG, Va. - Sen. John McCain, looking to heal a rift with the religious conservatives..
..He noted that the war "has taken innocent life," but he said he has stood his ground in support of it because he believed "my country's interests and values required it."
remember, he's not seeking to heal any rift with you and consider if your interests and values required invading and occupying iraq.
McCain = shameless.

Well, he is reaching out to the New School also -- another constituency that he won't get. However, since Bob Kerry is far less authoritarian than Jerry Falwell, he won't be greeted as politely.
The Straight-Talk Guy was the reason most left-libertarians thought he was pretty cool. Let's remember that politics aside, most Male antiwar types admired John Wayne. He told people what he thought. McCain seemed like John Wayne only in real life...guess what. "Another war/we lost."
