Stop It You Meanies, Or Else I'm Telling My Mom!

Michelle Malkin scolds the "oh-so-compassionate Left" for "snickering" at the Claude Allen story. She implores her readers to "tell me again why this is funny." I know that Claude Allen has feelings, but come on, it's funny!

This story is funny for the same reason that it is (1) fun to mock a Senator who champions civil liberties by comparing him to a masturbating monkey, (2) hilarious to trivialize the torture and death of a peace activist because he loved his enemies a little too much, and (3) compassionate to blame Arabs for lacking proper burial skills, which led to their dead relatives being dug up and eaten by feral dogs.

Laughing at misfortune is what the blogosphere is all about.
